   After my cover photo shoot. I asked some friends which cover they liked better. The  burnout from the front or from the back. the answer was unanimously From the front so the so the second cover revision is a new background.

   Yesterday I went and took some cover photos of a burnout from the front. That went well I got exactly what I needed for that photo, but the other photo I needed. the driver didn't want to take then because it was getting dark. on the other hand I my brother brought out his 1974 dodge Dart Sport so I took a few photos of that for the table of contents. Here are some samples of the photos I took.

   For the third photo shoot I am going back to the same location as the cover shoot for a second angle on the cover photo and a table of contents photo for 'Power can Keep You in Control'. I will be taking a photo of a burnout from the front to compare to the photo I've already taken from the back. the second photo will be of a car powering into a turn. for that photo i will be positioned in a driveway next to a 65 ° turn as the car comes a round i will take a burst of photos i will do this three times from three different angles. as the car will make three passes.

   The first edition of the cover had a lot of  unused space and the text seemed small and cramped. to revise this i enlarged the tittle font, this makes the tittle pop out more and would help with on the shelf advertising. I removed the bullet points that listed the articles and spread out the article tittles. I also moved the main article to the bottom and changed the color to separate it from the rest of the article. to deal with the dead space problem i started some social media accounts that will also help with advertising as well.

    After presenting to the class I saw the flaws and strengths of my magazine so far. The strengths in my magazine so far are the formatting of the cover and the article. But other than that the article has many weaknesses. The cover photo has my shadow showing on the road so that photo should be re-shot. The cover also doesn't have the feel I desire I'm hoping adding a brand will fix that. The table of contents is very bland because I haven't yet taken photos to give a taste of the other articles. I will have some photo shoots at S and S Motorsports to fill this gap and add flare to the bland table of contents. In the article I'm going to take some photos of the owner working on the car and some of the car at a different location to add diversity to the pictures. I also may add a section to the article with comments from the owner. To make the magazine look more professional I'm going to add social media tags to the cover and down where the page numbers are.          FASTEST STREET CAR magazine, is the official magazine or publication of the national muscle car association. They use an unconventional method for the layout of their table of contents. instead of pages in number order they have headings of types of articles and then the page numbers under the heading along with a picture from one of the articles. towards the front of the magazine they have a section called rumors it contains news in racing and advertisements for small businesses and new businesses in the drag racing community. They also like to place adds between pages in there articles i believe this is to separate sections of the article.
