The plan for the cover photo is to have a professional driver perform a burnout in a 1970 Chevelle. it will be performed at a local airfield or both safety and aesthetic purposes. I will be taking the picture from the rear passenger side of the vehicle to hopefully get the best view of the smoke and the spinning wheel while staying safe. To keep the drivers identity safe the license plate will be covered up with a decorative plate.

For the cover photo of my magazine project i will be taking a picture of a 1970 Chevelle performing a burnout. To perform a burnout a driver applies pressure to the brakes and then presses the accelerator pedal down until the drive wheel looses traction and starts to spin freely. A burnout can be dangerous because the friction of the tire spinning causes the tire to heat up and smoke. Also the free spinning wheel can case the motor to heat up more than normal. For these reasons the burnout will be performed in an open area with no non involved bystanders. The driver has a professional license and will be wearing fire retardant clothing as well as a helmet and a 3 point Y harness. There will be fire extinguishers on standby just in case of fire.

     After my photo-shoot on Tuesday i believe i got some good pictures to illustrate the before of a home restoration on a 1968 Pontiac Lemans. I believe the pictures also illustrate the environment of most home restorations.

Today I'm planning to do my first photo shoot for the article of my magazine in the airplane hangar of the owner of a 1968 Pontiac Lemans 2 door coupe.  the car rebuild project is to be the subject of my article. the reason for the photo shoot today is to get pictures of the car gutted and dirty to illustrate how it started out before it was completely rebuilt.
